After breakfast, drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and follow the trail map to one of the four stunning beaches in the area, which are some of Costa Rica's best. Hike on one of the park's numerous clearly indicated trails for a closer look at capuchin monkeys, sloths, and more than 200 different species of birds if you're looking for more adventure. There are numerous locations along the beaches where snorkeling is possible.
You'll begin this ocean trip in a two-person open-seat kayak in what is thought to be one of the country's most idyllic coastline regions.
