After breakfast, drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and follow the trail map to one of the four stunning beaches in the area, which are some of Costa Rica's best. Hike on one of the park's numerous clearly indicated trails for a closer look at capuchin monkeys, sloths, and more than 200 different species of birds if you're looking for more adventure. There are numerous locations along the beaches where snorkeling is possible.
Plan a snorkeling excursion at Manuel Antonio and enjoy Sea Kayaking
You'll begin this ocean trip in a two-person open-seat kayak in what is thought to be one of the country's most idyllic coastline regions. The course starts close to Quepos' Pez Vela Marina and follows Manuel Antonio's shoreline. There will be time to unwind on Playa Biesanz's isolated beach, where you can swim and have a picnic in the sand. During a snorkeling excursion near offshore, you may also see the vibrant coral reef and aquatic life of the region.
Exploring Arenal Volcano National Park
Visit Arenal Volcano National Park today. There are numerous hiking and tourist trails in the park. Keep an eye out for the variety of local species as you stroll through the park. You might see toucans, sloths, monkeys, and other unusual species. You can take a dip in one of the local hot springs after your hike. Around La Fortuna, there are numerous hot springs resorts, many of which provide day tickets. Later, you can go to one of the neighboring waterfalls, including Rio Celeste or La Fortuna Waterfall. Both are breathtaking natural treasures that are well worth visiting.
A day for San Jose Cultural Tour
Start your day at the National Museum of Costa Rica, located in the heart of San Jose. Next, visit the Teatro Nacional (National Theater), a stunning neoclassical building that is considered one of the most beautiful theaters in Latin America. After lunch, explore the Barrio Amon neighborhood, known for its colorful Victorian-era buildings. End your day at the Jade Museum, which features one of the largest collections of pre-Columbian jade artifacts in the world.
